An excellent FRT disconnector for your TX22. This is a full metal FRT that has been thoroughly tested. No gunsmithing needed. 100% drop in. They will have some tool marks as each one is inspected/deburred, if need be polished all by hand. Purely cosmetic. The FRT design has been absolutely hammered with thousands of rounds to ensure reliability. This FRT has been tested with the following ammo:
- Federal blue box - bulk
- Federal Champion - bulk
- Remington Thunderbolt - bulk
- Remington Golden Bullet - bulk
- CCI Mini Mag
- CCI Target
- CCI Varmint
- CCI Stinger (THIS SPICY)
- Monarch (do not use)
- Winchester White Box - bulk (FILTHY)
- Winchester Wild Cat (nice)
- Norma Tac 22 (do not use)
- Aguila High Velocity
- Blazer Bronze
For the exception of the Norma Tac 22 and Monarch, this FRT has run flawlessly. No stoppages, FTF, FTE, etc... The TX22 is surprisingly a very solid pistol despite it's intended MSRP price tag.
This has been tested on Gen 1 and Gen 2 full size. Will most likely work with the compact version but not with the competition version.
We've also observed that after thousands of round there is no wear on the OEM striker block.
NOTE ON Suppressors: Running a can with the FRT depends on the can and it may or may not cycle reliably. Factors include the slide weight, such as the gen 1 vs gen 2 which has more cut outs, recoil spring, recoil rod. Some cans run perfectly without any mods. This FRT was used on a Dead Air Mask with a Lakeline buffered recoil rod and Osight K Micro.
