Today we're reintroducing our NOVA Striker Block Assembly. This thing is awesome. Many companies sell replacement striker block assemblies made out of carbon fiber, PLA, PLA+, and while those are good they all have the same potential issue for failure.
That potential point of failure is due to traditional FDM printing used by companies to manufactur the part. The strike block assembly sees a lot of vibration, impact, friction, etc... with traditional FDM printing, those components are manufactured by stacking 'layers' on top of each other to form the part. While this method is excellent for basic parts, such as a safety or mag release, they are not opimal for a high stress area. Parts made out of PLA, PETG, PLA+ are even prone to damage due to the repeated friction caused by the reciprication of the slide. Check out a material test here.
That's where we come in. The NOVA Striker Block Assembly is one solid piece with no layer lines. Made out of reinforced nylon carbon fiber by fusing the material together in a solid piece. There are no areas that would allow vibrations or shock to compromise the part due to high rate of fire.
The assembly has a slight texture to it but as it is broken in, usually through 2-3 mags, the contact surface becomes smooth almost like glass. Thus, allowing your TX22 to cycle smoothly and increase performance.
Intended to be used with our own FRT, these are absolute gems that will help your TX22 run fast and smooth.
